Enrolment Procedure
Step One
The first step to enrol your child into Swanbourne Primary School is to complete an ‘Application for Enrolment’. Once your child’s enrolment has been accepted, you will then be required to complete our official enrolment documentation.
Evidence of your child’s age and residence is required when submitting an application to enrol your child in a public school. This evidence includes:
- Your child’s birth certificate (original or certified copy) or birth extract or equivalent identity documents
- Immunisation records available through your MyGov account
- Family Court orders (if applicable)
- Medical records where applicable (eg asthma, allergies)
- Passport and visa details (if applicable)
Immunisation Requirements
Your child can only go to Kindergarten when they meet Western Australia’s immunisation requirements. This helps to better protect our children and community from vaccine-preventable diseases. The same immunisation requirements apply to Kindergarten at a school, a community kindergarten and a childcare service. If you would like to know more about the Kindergarten immunisation requirements or immunisation services visit HealthyWA.

Principals may accept a maximum of three of the following as evidence of residential address:
- utilities payment advice

- proof of ownership of property (for example rates notice, deeds, mortgage)
